Angels and Demons

Well, guess what? I went to lowyat and times square with my brother, Lawrence. And so lucky, we watched this extremely thrilling mystery movie, starring Tom Hanks. Wow, Angels and Demons. Before I start to blog about this show, I want to know how many of you out there actually read the book or did some homework about this story?

It seems interesting from the trailer? Or from the picture above? One who is a fans of sci-fi and action-packed movies will not really recommend this pathethic-little-monkey's show! Allow me to ask you a few questions. What would you think if Transformers and Terminators don't have any Robots exist in the story, throughout the whole plot, the whole storyline? What if Alien vs Predators are all about humans? No Aliens No predators...?

This same applies to Angels and Demons, yeah, roughly get the idea of what I'm gonna tell you? It has unexpected plot, unexpected story line, and this lead me to the well of disappointment, a great disappointment. What I expected from the story was the struggle between good and evil, and till today, I found out actually the story only concerns about christianity and catholic. Nothing to do with Demons nor Angels. No Demons no angels equals to WORLD PEACE. I hope that my great length of disappointment can be recovered by watching my long awaiting Terminator and Transformer. Hope these two T-letter-Robotics movie can pull me out from the deep well of disappointment.

Ok, here's how the movie is all about. A professor Robert Longdon (Tom Hanks) is responsible in his field in doing symbolical studies, all about Ancient symbols, such as from the period like Galileo. So happen that in the history of christianity and catholic, there's a group who opposes this religion, formed a group of people named Illuminati. Till now, a recent case, the leader of all christians, the Father (pops) had passed away, so they need a new one. And bla bla bla, our beloved hero, the professor is invited for a case of blackmailing, sent a word "Illuminati" to the police of Vacanti, telling them that they are going to set up bom that is made using the technology of modern science. The bom was stolen from a secret location experiment, which is higly confidential, top secret. Because they believe that when science and religion colide, this is where epic begins. And now, they are following the earth elements, which are land, air, fire and water. And they kidnapped the 4 priest, and set them in a place, which I forgot the names =p... So one by one, their lives will be threatened when the time comes, following the sequence of the earth elements. So the game has begun, Robert's job is to find the jig-saw-puzzle-like pieces of clues to find out the next place of execution of the 4 priest. So tell me, where did the hell those demons appear? Of course non la!!! All are human act, no demons and angels. The story ends by stating that the murderer was under the orders of Illuminati and was actually one of the priest's command. Then they found out and before that, they saved the Vatican citizens not by evacuating them from the city, but to take the bom to higher places, to the sky and let it explode there. Finally, they exterminate the bad guy. The end. No kissing. No SX18. No bed scene. No horror scene. Definitely safe for children below 12. Because it consist of Super-duper-hyper lame storyline. It's all about christianity. Nothing much, all about the priest's plan who wanted to be the successor of the dead one. Better don't waste time and money buying a RM7.00 ticket with the discount for a student, and sit in the cinema, waiting for a 2 hours show to finish, till your buttocks got red!!! And one reminder, there were words like Demons and Angels. First was Angel's statue, where it was located in one of the church, church St. Peter, if not mistaken. One more was the 'Demon's hole', it's a place inside the church. These are the words which are 'closely related' with the title of the show. And last best ever scene found in this show was, the explosion of the bom, modern advanced ion bom. I forgot the name, but something to do with ions and photons bom. Produced scientifically la. The explosion is superb, thumbs up for that! That's my review, NO OFFENSE!
